Speed Sculpt - 019 - Zombie Girls Legs - Organics
Ive loved this concept picture since I saw it so decided to finally use it for something - ID like to do a Tankgirl figure in the near future but for now modeling Zombie Girls legs and accessories seems like a good excercise in fun and more organic sculpting.
I sculpted the legs prety starkly using Inflate, Std, Dam Std and two of my custom cuttering tools and then smoothed back and used Polish to get a smoother finish. Ive not gone as far as putting skin texture on or clothing /fabric texture but I think the legs will be seen again either to complete the Zombie Girl or as a basic for some form of Tank Girl sculpt.
I made the Skirt and Boots using Topo over the leg mesh then applied a very minimal amount of manual sculpting to get a rough shape - I didnt want to linger on the Boots as Ive been there before and feel confident that I can, with time, make some nice ones, and the Skirt is a whole lot of other speed sculpts Id like to do and give more time and learning too as its full of fun and frustrations - (Reaches for Hogarths Dynamic Wrinkles Bible).

Steam Brigadier - Pouches and Leg straps/Webbing
This is a longer term project, which will be both a posable and dressable Avatar for forums and a fully rigged in-game character.
Basically hes a middle aged - hard bitten and heavily combat experienced British Field Officer - specifically a Combat Engineer of the Cavalry division of a Steampunk universe. Hell be fully equiped with weapons and accesories - of which Im currently sketching out his leg webbing and accompanying pouches for ammo and gizmos.
Im concepting between ZB - (setting out volumes); then exporting to PS via Zapplink for paintovers, then back into ZB to make the decided changes and repeat as needed - its a fun process and very fast and accurate for my particular tastes and techniques.
Leg webbing and Pouches - all at mid poly stage read for further detailing, also pulling the trousers into shape as I move forward -
